A more efficient cutting planes approach for the green vehicle routing problem with capacitated alternative fuel stations

AbstractThe Green Vehicle Routing Problem with Capacitated Alternative Fuel Stations assumes that, at each station, the number of vehicles simultaneously refueling cannot exceed the number of available pumps. The state-of-the-art solution method, based on the generation of all feasible non-dominated paths, performs well only with up to 2 pumps. In fact, it needs cloning the paths between every pair of pumps. To overcome this issue, in this paper, we propose new path-based MILP models without cloning paths, for both the scenario with private stations (i.e., owned by the fleet manager) and that with public stations. Daily therapeutic practices were compared to official labelling and to published scientific data in this retrospective study. It was carried out in two respective specialised centers, from January to September 2004. All chemotherapies administered for adult solid tumours and including one of the eleven studied drugs were evaluated. A novel fuzzy-based approach which combines ELECTRE III along with the Importance-Performance Analysis (IPA) is proposed in the present work to comparatively evaluate the service quality in the public healthcare context. Specifically, ELECTRE III is firstly considered to compare the service performance of examined hospitals in a noncompensatory manner. Afterwards, IPA is employed to support the service quality management to point out improvement needs and their priorities. Bakalaurā darbā tiek pētīta uzņēmējdarbības un komercbanku mijiedarbība. Darbā tiek praktiski pielietota benčmārkinga teorija, salīdzinātie iegūti rezultāti, izveidojot trīsfaktoru lineārā un nelineārā regresiju, kā arī aprēķināti sezonālie indeksi ap pakāpes trendu. Ar benčmārkinga metodes praktisko pielietojumu tiek salīdzinātas lielākās komercbankas pēc korporatīvo klientu skaita. Iegūtie rezultāti, no klientu skata punkta, palīdzēja noteikt labāko komercbanku juridiskām personām, kā arī prognozēt izsniegto kopēju komerckredītu apjoma izmaiņas Latvijā tuvākā divu gada laikā.

An Information Systems Design Product Theory for Software Project Estimation and Measurement Systems

There is relatively little research on software Project Estimation and Measurement Systems (PEMS). Commercial PEMS vary in functionality and effectiveness. Their intended users thus do not know what to expect from PEMS and how to evaluate them. This paper creates an information system design product theory for the class of PEMS that prescribes the meta-requirements, the meta-design, and applicable theories for all products within the class. Meta-requirements and the meta-design are derived from the project estimation and measurement literature, experiences obtained during more than ten years of empirical work in Finnish Software Measurement Association, and a commercially available PEMS.
